The Lottery is a story about a village of people who get together each year for the lottery. Every one in the town gets to draw a piece of paper from a black box. Who evers draws a piece of paper with a black dot on it, gets a surprise. But not a surprise that they really want. The surpise is that you get stones thrown at you.
Charles is a story about a little boy named Laurie who just started school. Everyday he comes home from school and tells his parents how this one little boy named Charles who is always doing naughty things to the teacher and everyone. Charels behavior varies from good to bad every week. Finally there is a parent teacher night where Laurie's mom gets to meet Charles mom.She ends up finding out from the teacher that there is no Charles and that in real life its her son who is the naughty little boy.
